Action for Children launches child neglect ad

An integrated advertising campaign by the Action for Children charity launched last night (March 8th) on Channel 4.

Led by Baby Creative, the organisers released a 30-second TV clip during the Secret Millionaire in a bid to highlight issues related to children who are neglected by their parents.

Those on the lookout for design jobs might be interested in the premise of the advertisement, which told the story of Emily, depicted as a miniature toy figure that goes unnoticed in her journey through an urban landscape.

Action for Children also provides family support services and specialist help for disabled youngsters.

Also, the campaign has seen cardboard cut-outs of Emily placed across UK landmarks, which members of the public can photograph and send to sites such as Twitter and Facebook.
