Bacardi begins digital advertising review

Bacardi has launched a review of its digital advertising operations in the UK.

According to Campaign, the spirits producer is looking to change the way it works with creative agencies.

It currently utilises their services on a project-by-project basis, but is looking to take on a retained firm for the first time.

Creative jobs providers glue London and Saint@Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R will be unaffected by the move, the news source noted.

And the winning firm will be responsible for overseeing all of Bacardi's digital strategy, as well as working with Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R on forthcoming campaigns.

Bacardi's online marketing includes a presence on Apple's App Store, where it offers a free app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that teaches users how to make the perfect mojito.

As well as working for Bacardi, London-based Saint@Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R has produced digital content for brands such as Virgin, Palm, LG, Marks & Spencer and the BBC.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19609689-ADNFCR
