Barclaycard awarded naming rights for Wembley Arena

29 Apr
The naming rights for the Wembley Arena stadium have been awarded to Barclaycard.

It has joined forces with urban regeneration business Quintain Estates and Development, which has enabled it to have the opportunity to name the venue - to be called Wembley Arena, a Barclaycard Unwind Venue.

Points for contactless payment ? a method of purchasing products under £15 - are set to be installed throughout the stadium, which could interest those with digital marketing jobs.

James Saunders, managing director of commercial ventures at Quintain, said the partnership between Barclaycard and the stadium shows its brand strength in terms of music-loving people.

Individuals within marketing recruitment could be interested to know that more than ten million Barclaycard customers will be available to activate exclusive ticket information about acts performing at the arena.

The company has branched out to 60 different countries since coming up with its first credit card in 1966.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19750507-ADNFCR
