Big Brother and Facebook join forces

As Channel 5 launches on its first year as broadcaster to the long running reality TV show, the
show’s producer Endemol, Facebook and mobile agency Mobile Interactive Group are developing a Facebook app that lets viewers vote for the contestants they want to leave the Big Brother house.

 

This new dimension to the marketing and operation of the Big Brother franchise is considered by James Tatam (Channel 5 Digital Director) as one of many bold, new aspects to the digital strategy of the show, which will include several new ways to interact with Big Brother through social media. He has also launched the first ever Big Brother Twitter feed, live now.
