Brands 'will take advantage of social media opportunities'

Many companies will capitalise on opportunities within the social networking sphere, according to an expert whose comments may intrigue anyone seeking creative jobs.

Daniel Chubb, chief executive officer at Dansway Communications and Online Social Media, outlined the growing appeal of such platforms to enterprises who are looking to advertise their services.

He stated: "Brands want to be involved in social media sites."

For the future, Mr Chubb explained "there will be custom deals made with big brands".

In addition, smartphones could provide a new medium that is capable of generating the type of usability and enjoyment that is not as immediately possible on a desktop computer.

It may also be worth considering the ways in which such remote access can expand the potential audience for web advertisers.
