19 Mar
Those seeking creative jobs that require digital expertise may be interested in news that BSkyB is set to launch Europe's first 3D TV channel with the transmission of Manchester United versus Chelsea on April 3rd.

More than 1,000 pubs and clubs in the UK have signed up for Sky 3D, which will enable fans to watch the season's climax in the new innovative viewing format.

Previously, Samsung, Sony, Panasonic and LG announced plans to released Sky-compatible 3D TVs, while a series of movies, sports, documentaries and arts programmes are also set to become available under the new technology.

The news may interest anyone on the lookout for creative jobs in the media, with the emergence of 3D formats potentially changing the way consumers view their favourite programmes.

Sky had previously tested the technology in a small selection of pubs for the Arsenal versus Manchester United clash earlier in the season.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19679494-ADNFCR
