EA announces PR agency support changes

In news that may interest anyone seeking PR jobs, Electronic Arts (EA) has announced changes to its communications operations.

According to PR Week, the Threepipe PR agency will now promote the EA Sports account, which was previously managed by Shine Communications.

As part of the new arrangements, the latter organisation will continue to work on EA's Play division.

The changes have come about following a six-way pitch and as a consequence of the announcement, Threepipe will promote franchises such as Tiger Woods PGS Tour 2011.

Following the news, EA ? which was founded in 1982 ? will look to plough ahead with its UK growth strategy in the coming months.

Furthermore, the publication revealed that Clifford French has been appointed to promote the games developer's high-profile franchises such as FIFA.
