Eddie Izzard to feature in Labour campaign ad

16 Apr
Those seeking PR jobs might be interested to learn that the Labour Party is releasing a new political broadcast which features comedian Eddie Izzard.

It has been created by the Silverfish agency, explains the Guardian, and is titled Brilliant Britain.

The two-minute campaign will be broadcast today (April 16th) and has been aired via the internet in advance.

During the promotion, Izzard speaks directly to the camera and discusses what he believes to be the potential ramifications of a Conservative government.

In addition, a different version of the advert is being created for viewers in Scotland.

Labour is also set to produce a Welsh language advertisement as part of its television strategy.

Anyone seeking PR vacancies might be intrigued by the possibilities related to promotional campaigns with a political twist.

The news comes after the three major party leaders participated in the first ever national televised election debate in the UK.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19725012-ADNFCR
