Frank PR picks up 2 CSR accounts

Frank PR has been appointed to oversee public relations for two organisations specialising in corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The agency has won briefs with We Are What We Do and Global Cool, PR Week reports.

Chairman of Frank PR Graham Goodkind welcomed the news, saying that PR relating to CSR activities is to become "as important, if not more important" than it was prior to the recession.

"As the economy recovers we're seeing a bit of a trend for consumers to once again be more interested in ethical and environmental issues," he was quoted as saying.

His company will work on current and future campaigns for We Are What We Do, which is best known for its ' I'm Not A Plastic Bag'' initiative.

It will also support schemes run by Global Cool, a climate change charity that is looking to encourage people to cut their carbon footprints.
