HP 'reviewing PR account'

26 Nov
Hewlett Packard (HP) is in the process of reviewing some of its PR operations in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, it has emerged.

According to PR Week, the technology firm is looking to overhaul its corporate reputation and crisis communications account.

HP has declined to comment, however documents seen by the news source are said to show that a pitching process will begin in early January, with a new agency chosen by February.

Hill & Knowlton is thought to currently control the brief, although it is not exactly known what operations the agency oversees for HP.

"We continue to work for HP in various countries including China and the US - among others - and the work spans executive communications, internal communications and analyst relations," the company said in a statement.

As well as HP, Hill & Knowlton also does PR work for the National Lottery Commission, Adidas and Kingfisher.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19481492-ADNFCR
