HSE 'eager to launch agriculture campaign'

11 Mar
Anyone looking for the best PR jobs may already be aware that an agency is being sought by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for a campaign to encourage farmers to use safer practices.

This is according to PR Week, which revealed that the brief for the Make The Promise strategy has recently been released by the Central Office of Information.

The one-year project - which commences in April - will get underway once agencies have pitched their ideas, following initial submissions.

Also, the publication observes that the campaign will highlight the dangers associated with agriculture, which accounts for one in five work-related deaths in the UK per year.

The strategy has also included the distribution of knots made of baling twine which can be displayed in farms.

Among the organisations to have recently signed-up to the HSE's pledge on improving workplace safety are the Royal Mail Group and the Department for Work and Pensions.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19664151-ADNFCR
