Lucozade Energy launches new TV advertisement

Creative jobs seekers might be interested in news that Lucozade Energy is about to release its first TV advertisement in more than five years.

The strategy has been conceived by M&C Saatchi and is part of a large-scale marketing outlay on the brand.

Directed by Stacy Peralta, the promotion will launch today (March 22nd) under a new message - Do More.

The advertisement features characters participating in white water rafting, mountain biking and kite surfing.

As part of the TV promotion, a trail of Lucozade ostensibly powers each athlete.

It arguably highlights the enduring appeal of traditional TV-based campaigns, despite the emergence of new digital formats.

The campaign is the latest move by the sports drink group to engage with a sporty audience.
