Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy wins SodaStream account

Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy has been chosen to handle the advertising account for SodaStream.

A relaunch of the carbonated drinks brand is planned for the UK this year and it has chosen the creative jobs provider to help promote its products following a pitch against an undisclosed number of agencies, Campaign reports.

The environmentally-friendly benefits of SodaStream - which allows users to make their own soft drinks - will be highlighted in the first advertising campaign, which is due to be introduced later this year.

It will focus on the fact that making your own drinks using a SodaStream requires less packaging and that the bottles used for the liquids required to make the carbonated beverages are made from recycled materials.

This is the second appointment SodaStream has made in anticipation of its relaunch.

Last month, it selected Frank PR to help it move into the UK market and managing director of SodaStream UK Mark Wyatt told PR Week that consumers in the country have a "deep fondness" for the product.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19633237-ADNFCR
