Mindshare on top following Unilever agency review

09 Feb
Unilever has given Mindshare the responsibility of overseeing the majority of its media operations after conducting a review of its agency roster.

The creative jobs provider, which is owned by WPP, will oversee work in nine of the food and consumer products producer's 15 main markets, including the UK, France, Germany, the US and Canada.

Interpublic-owned Initiative Media has taken four slots, while Omnicom firms PHD and Media Direction picked up one each.

Vice-president of global media at Unilever Laura Klauberg said the company is "extremely pleased with the outstanding portfolio of agencies that will be working on [its] behalf".

She added that the business is "confident" it has selected the best agency partners to help it engage customers, noting that the company is increasingly making use of digital and social media methods in order to promote its brands.

Unilever is one of Mindshare's many high-profile clients, with the firm also producing work for Nike, BP, IBM and Ford.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19605740-ADNFCR
