No Smoking Day launches Facebook campaign

Those who are keen to find creative jobs in the advertising sector may be interested in news of a digital approach by the No Smoking Day charity.

It has launched a Facebook application which is designed to help people kick the habit.

Today (March 10th) marks No Smoking Day, with the WeQuit app available on the social networking site.

The feature allows users to create a sponsored quit and outline rewards for successfully achieving this goal.

In the run-up to the occasion, the organisers claimed that two million people are set to permanently stop smoking on March 10th.

Commenting on the campaign, Duncan Bannatyne, president of No Smoking Day, stated: "We feel that quitting is a challenge that should be inspiring and enjoyable rather than a chore, and it's this attitude that makes WeQuit unique."
