Omid Djalili fronts Moneysupermarket.com marketing campaign

Comedian Omid Djalili has been chosen to front a new marketing campaign for Moneysupermarket.com.

He has replaced Dragon's Den star Peter Jones as the face of the price comparison website in a television campaign created by advertising agency MCBD.

The campaign sees Djalili - who is British but has family from Iran - argue that British people have an inability to haggle and promotes the website as the best place to find deals on products such as car insurance.

Marketing director at Moneysupermarket.com Davis Osborne explained that Djalili - who has also appeared in a number of films - is an ideal representative for the firm.

"Using him as a figurehead for this campaign really helps highlight the message we want to deliver," he remarked.

MCBD won the account for Moneysupermarket.com in September and also produces work for Virgin Trains, Waitrose, Hovis, the Department of Health and HM Revenue & Customs.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19536692-ADNFCR
