PR jobs: Labour and Conservatives 'to review election strategies'

22 Apr
Those looking for PR vacancies might be interested in one publication's suggestion that Labour and the Conservatives are to shift their campaign approach in response to a surge in support for the Liberal Democrats.

According to PR Week, the two main parties' strategists are examining how they can improve their fortunes in terms of communicating their respective messages to the public.

Comments made to the news provider by Liberal Democrat advisor Ian Wright expressed the opinion that the recent live televised debates have helped promote the party's leader Nick Clegg in the minds of the public.

He claimed he always believed "the TV debates had the potential to be the real game-changer for the whole campaign. So it proved."

As such, those who are looking at ways in which political campaigns can offer an invaluable resource for PR jobs might want to take note of the comments.

Recently, comedian Eddie Izzard fronted a web-based advert in which he pledged his support to the Labour Party.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19736875-ADNFCR
