Profiles Creative Finalists at the Recruiter Investing Talent Awards 2017

29 Jun

We bring to you exciting news at Profiles Creative as we head towards the Recruiter Investing Talent Awards 2017.

A massive congratulations to Associate Director Nicola Shepherd who has been shortlisted for the Most Inspiring Director/Senior Manager and Senior Creative Manager, James Spice, who is nominated for the Most Inspiring Team Leader / Manager award this year!

The awards recognise and reward companies in the industry for investing in future talent, and Profiles Creative are more than proud to have two of their star players in the running.

They say talent is like gold dust – there’s never enough of it, and we can definitely agree that everyday in the office Nicola and James go above and beyond to spread their gold dust; strengthening, leading and guiding their teams to be greater recruiters everyday.

And so this well deserved recognition is definitely something for us to shout out about.

Nicola Shepherd

"What an amazing feeling! I have had the biggest smile on my face all week and am particularly proud given what good company I was in in my category. My team and I work hard every day trying to provide best in class customer service to everyone we work with.  I feel honoured that this has been recognised not only by my colleagues but also by some of my industry peers."

With over a decade of recruitment experience under her belt, Nicola joined Profiles Creative at the beginning of 2013 as a Senior Consultant, progressing into her current Associate Director role in 2015. Fast forward to the present day and Nicola is now responsible for the on going success and happiness of the Profiles Creative freelance recruitment team, along with the management of some of Profiles Creative's key accounts. Nicola believes in a quality not quantity approach to recruitment. She is known within the business for always going out of her way (often to the deepest, darkest depths of the English countryside) in an effort to understand what makes her clients tick. This means that she and her team are true experts at matching the best people with the best brands and agencies.

James Spice
"To be shortlisted to the final 4 by my MD and team in a national award is a real honour. Having managed and grown the Creative Permanent Team over the last three years has brought many achievements, however, I think this is up there with the one of the best. I’m looking forward to dusting off my tux...  roll on October!”

Having developed a broad and diverse knowledge of the creative market, James has worked in the sector almost since the dawn of the creative industry as it looks today. James oversees our Design & Creative division and under his expert guidance, James' team encompasses the whole spectrum of Design & Creative roles for both leading agencies and specialist in house creative teams.

A prolific consultant in his heyday and now a motivational and caring manager, James has made Profiles Creative his home… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

And it gets better! Profiles Creative are also finalists for the Best Creative/Digital/Media/Marketing Company to Work For award! Well with team players like Nicola and James that pour daily inspiration into the office, who wouldn’t want to work for a diverse, creative and vibrant company where office pups married with creative passion are ingredients for the best recruitment agency not only in London but across the UK.
