TfL launches media account review

25 Feb
Transport for London (TfL) has announced a review of its media planning and buying account.

The activity is currently overseen by Mediaedge:cia - part of the WPP group - and the organisation is inviting other creative agencies to submit pitches for the business, Campaign reports.

It is also overhauling its digital advertising business, which involves overseeing paid search and display advertising activity.

Creative jobs providers have until March 22nd to express an interest in the accounts, which are valued at £6 million and cover advertising for a number of TfL-run services, such as the London Underground and bus network, as well as issues such as road safety and the congestion charge.

In addition, the account may also include work from the Olympic Delivery Authority, in the lead up to the 2012 Games being held in the capital.

Last month, the London Underground allocated 430 advertising spaces to Changing Faces, a charity that campaigns for equality for those with facial disfigurements.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19636046-ADNFCR
