Toast called in to work on Iceland brand

08 Feb
Frozen food retailer Iceland has called in PR jobs provider Toast to help it choose a new face of the brand.

The company is looking for a consumer who can be used in marketing and advertising for the chain and Toast has been selected to handle customer support for the move, PR Week reports.

Live auditions will be hosted around the country from the end of next month, with the new face of the company being announced in April.

The public will be able to vote for their favourite online and a judging panel featuring Coleen Nolan - who recently announced that she is stepping down from her role as the face of Iceland's marketing - will also have a say in who is chosen.

Toast, which has offices in London, Manchester and Nottingham, was formed in 2004.

It had previously worked with Boots following the introduction of the smoking ban, helping to raise awareness of the pharmacy's stop-smoking products by organising press coverage that included appearances on This Morning and GMTV.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19603052-ADNFCR
