Work Club wins Sharp advertising account

28 Jan
Advertising at consumer electronics firm Sharp will now be carried out by the creative jobs provider Work Club after its success in attaining the deal.

The company has beaten off competition from three unnamed candidates to win the £4 million account, which will see it take control of all creative duties, such as above the line, digital and brochure design.

According to Brand Republic, Sharp is looking to reposition itself in the UK market, with Work Club's first task to be involved with the Quattron LCD Aquos TV, which offers one trillion colours and adds a yellow pixel to the usual red, green and blue.

Martin Arnold, the marketing communications manager at Sharp UK, told the news provider: "The appointment allows us to partner with a young, creative agency to successfully launch Quattron in the UK through an integrated tactical campaign."

Work Club's previous clients have included Nokia, Coca-Cola, Kraft, Alfa Romeo and Pizza Express.ADNFCR-2176-ID-19584374-ADNFCR
