2D Designer - 30-35k - Live Experience Agency

Job description My client are a London based award winning live experience agency is looking for a talented mid-weight designer to join our creative team. The position is to provisionally cover for maternity leave but with the potential for a permanent role thereafter.

You will be hands-on and self-motivated, confident in your ability to articulate and visualise your ideas in an inspiring and coherent way, with a minimum of 4-5 years experience at marketing and experiential agencies. We are particularly interested in people who have worked on large scale exhibitions - from brand identity, content and wayfinding.

Working directly on projects from start to finish and you must be able to demonstrate experience and confidence: Within design and branding; Across large-format print and exhibition graphics; Working within retail and roadshow environments. You will also be skilled in bringing to life events, engagements and campaigns, being able to create or enhance visuals in Photoshop. Storytelling is at the heart of the agencies offering, so to be able to bring to life these stories through your work is fundamental.

You'll be able to find your way around layout plans and be confident working alongside our 3D architects and visualising team. Some experience working with graphics for digital platforms (banners and UI) would be beneficial to support our expanding digital department and our ever-growing list of fab clients.

You should be:
*Previous experience at integrated or experiential agencies
*Able to design for both print and digital platforms
*Proficient at artworking and have good technical knowledge
*Passionate about layouts and typography
*Reliable under pressure - with good problem-solving skills

*Creative suite - in particular Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
*Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
*Able to take design through from concept, presentation and to final artwork
*Exhibition graphics, including brand identity, content and wayfinding

An understanding of any the following would also be an advantage:
*Visualising in Photoshop
*Animation/motion graphics
*Basic 3D knowledge
*Illustration and infographics
*An ability to scamp and sketch would be considered a valuable additional asset
