Job description This leading London Experience Marketing Agency is looking for an Account Director!

THE ROLE:
They are looking for an Account Director to work across their portfolio of clients, focusing predominately on leading banks as well as a variety of other projects.

The candidate must have extensive experience in a creative events or integrated agency (where your role has consisted of predominantly experiential led campaigns), and be a confident, articulate and driven person.

You must have excellent people management and organisational skills, and not be afraid of a challenge! They are a collaborative team at all levels of the business and want people to be engaged with their working life at the agency.

They invest heavily in training and personal development - their annual training programme is curated with the team's requests in mind. They also invest in their people socially with cultural trips and Friday drinks.

The role includes:
Planning
- Leads to deliver strategic & insight led thinking and ideas
- Is seen as a strategic partner for clients' businesses (not just the implementer)
- Able to condense or extract clear and objective focused briefs from clients
- Clear, flowing writing of client proposals / pitch documents
- Oversee the team in producing client evaluation documents post project

They specialise in creating environments and experiences that become the living and breathing embodiment of a brand, and are designed to make a person feel something specific; whether that be trust, excitement or curiosity, the feeling that an experience creates is central to a brand's
ability to connect with its audience.

Account & People Management
- Senior lead contact for clients, pro-actively develops open dialogue and rapport for the agency
- Owns and drives account planning
- Takes leadership of accounts ensuring jobs are managed effectively, completed on time,
in budget - working with day to day leads to gain insight and updates in order to
provide overall direction on projects
- Has oversight of the team capacity and updates in weekly senior meetings
- Manages and develops their direct line reports in line with the agency's performance
management method and isn't afraid of having the harder conversations when needed
- Champions agency procedures, continuing to innovate and introduce new
processes which enable us to deliver best in class work and account handling
- Displays high-level of creative critique, with exceptional attention to detail on production finishes and event execution

New Business
- Shows ability to work across a variety of brands and sectors, researching and getting up to speed on any new or potential clients ahead of meetings and / or pitches
- Can identify key areas for growth opportunities (existing clients or new business)
- Clear understanding and ability to effectively run a pitch process from start to finish

- Reporting into Group Account Director
- 3 direct line reports
