Brand Photography Coordinator

Job description My client, a well known retail brand are look for a Production Coordinator to join the team.

This role is focused on the delivery of high quality, high volume product imagery for selling products online. The ideal candidate will have an eye for impactful photography, with great attention to detail and ideally previous experience working within the homewares retail space. You will be extremely proficient in using the Adobe Creative Suite particularly Photoshop and InDesign and have a sound knowledge of Excel.

The Coordinator will be the gatekeeper of all photographic brand assets and will organise, file and manage the traffic of all brand imagery. You will be expected to perform quality control on images, create guidelines and briefs for our internal and external photography departments, provide feedback to our external retouchers and manage budgets. The importance of consistency and how to achieve it is imperative to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

*Ensuring smooth tracking of digital assets through the photography, retouch and sign off process with respect to deadlines, quality and accuracy

*Create weekly photography shoot plan to ensure all cut-out images requirement are clearly communicated to in-house photographer

*Plan a daily studio schedule to meet studio capacity and e-com cut-out photography requirements

*Support the Creative Brand Manager in the development of cut-out photography style guides

*Create image place-holders within digital asset management system

*Undertake simple post production of images as required

*Manage the assets delivery process and liaise with external retouching agency to ensure deadlines are met

Experience and Skills:

*Extremely proficient in Photoshop, InDesign & Microsoft Excel

*Knowledge of best practice photography principles and good technical knowledge of photography

*In depth understanding of Retouch process

*Ability to meet tight deadlines and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

*Good organisation and administrative skills

*Must be able to multi-task and prioritize multiple work streams/projects
