Job description My client is an Integrated Marketing and Communications Agency, helping their clients connect, engage, and sustain meaningful relationships with their customers. They work across B2B, B2C and B2B2C and are experts in addressing varied demographics, while also addressing the need for scalability in design solutions. They have developed a deep understanding of the complexities involved in working with multiple stakeholders and partners in global brands, and brands that aspire to have international reach. They really pride themselves in our collaborative approach, which enables them to work effectively with clients and other agencies, producing truly integrated and effective campaigns.

* Understanding the message the client is seeking to deliver and translating this into attractive copy
* Writing perfect, pleasing copy that will engage the reader
* Receiving feedback and using it to grow and improve as a copywriter
* Understanding client specifications to craft copy that is on brand
* Working with an art director and other colleagues to devise creative strategies
* Keeping copy consistent and identifiable for each client
* Proofreading laid-out copy before it goes out to clients
* Producing creative ideas for innovative campaigns

* Writing skills: ability to write well with proper tone, feeling, sentence structure and emotion
* Proofing: excellent understanding of spelling, grammar and syntax
* Can develop content in a brand's tone of voice
* Can work up content from scratch based on background/related content/ briefing with the client
* Can research to develop a proposition/story and bring it to life
* Understands how to adjust content to different audiences and/or formats - this may include corporate decks, customer print materials, or infographics
* A good visual sense - understand how your copy will or might be used or displayed and how this will affect how you write it.
* Diligence: can be relied on to deliver to cost, quality and deadlines
* Can manage expectations: for timescales and delivery. Can multitask effectively and juggle multiple jobs under
* A good communicator - someone who knows how to navigate a company, and who will be able to reach out to
others when they have questions.
