Creative Producer - Music - London - £45k

Job description Our client is looking for a production all-rounder who has solid experience of the music industry, across the B2B and B2C space, including with major and developing brands, and can apply their expertise to running multi-discipline creative studio for their print, video and digital assets, and can also produce large-scale events and other brand work.


Your Role

*Manage the integrated design schedule, job status recording and updates and all project steps from brief to delivery.
*Work under direction of Head of Content & Creative to execute the brand and manage the delivery of creative assets within a music and music audience context. Creative touchpoints include copy, print and digital design, campaign production, events, set builds, gigs, photography, video and social assets.
*Lead creative project management and underpin with solid production process, including scheduling kick-off meetings, project team meetings and working meetings as needed to minimise risk and manage expectations through each project
*Assist in pulling together the scope of work for each project, including final costs, technical specs, project timelines and designation of roles and responsibilities
*Drive creative process and timelines cross functionally across marketing, events, production, content, sales, and dev/UX design teams
*Secure creative approvals with Head of Content & Creative and prepare final files for release to clients
*Oversight of creative production including asset management and timelines. Develop and oversee processes and asset management tools to streamline workflows.
*Partner with finance and senior leadership to align creative budgets, reforecasts and long-range planning.
*Help to project manage 'special builds' including interactive displays and bespoke event displays
*Developing excellent relationships with international clients and suppliers. Assist in costing projects with suppliers and in negotiating costs to bring suppliers' projects in within budget
*Identifying potential client issues and working with the Head of Dept to develop solutions
*Identify freelance needs to ensure projects are run to time and budget and management of freelance recruitment and onboarding
*Create and maintain studio policies and induction (handbook) for new team members/freelancers on studio protocol


Your Experience

*Experience of working under the direction of a Head of Creative and Content
*Knowledgeable across a wide variety of music genres and experienced across DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, etc.)
*Experience interacting comfortably and effectively with commercial artist talent or Music Manager/A&R stakeholders to inform creative briefs and artwork direction
*Technical and practical expertise in event production, PA sound, and lighting equipment
*Be familiar with creative aspects of licensing music for television, digital, SVOD, and advertising platforms


Your Skills

*Music or entertainment experience is highly preferred
*Demonstrated competency in project management and the execution of multiple or large projects in a marketing role within the music industry touching all creative disciplines from copy, print, photography, digital, video and events.
*Experience of working across multiple timelines, office locations, and local adaptation/translation requirements, with international experiences preferred.
*Strong attention to detail and focus on project and task completion.
*Ability to set and manage priorities and work within tight deadlines
*Creative or design background within music industry. Solid working knowledge of digital and web technologies. Knowledge and understanding of both print and digital production processes.
*Experience with project management tools
*Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional teams.
*Must possess leadership qualities and management skills - of both people and projects.
*Strong editing and copywriting skills.
*Ability to think creatively and strategically.
*Demonstrated client management skills.
*Ability to keep projects on track and hold others accountable..
*Sound knowledge of relevant materials as well as the final construction methods for Exhibition and Events
*Adobe Creative Cloud, Excel, Mac and PC literate, general technical trouble shooting, Preflight, Large format
