My client are currently recruiting a Digital Marketing & Media Executive to join their central marketing team at an exciting time for the company. They have a strong focus on digital marketing across 90+ leisure facilities to drive income and participation in line with their mission statement. They have just launched a new app and website and have further plans this year in terms of developing the digital marketing direction which the successful applicant would be a key part of.

The Digital Marketing & Media Executive would be responsible for identifying and implementing digital tools required to support business goals. This role will work closely with local & central marketing functions as well as relevant suppliers.

In this role you will:

Manage content for the website (using Umbraco) and support development of the App
Oversee emails from copywriting through to broadcast and review
Develop email strategy as part of their overall CRM strategy
Implement PPC and digital advertising (such as Google AdWords and AdSense)
Help develop digital marketing strategy
Review digital marketing impact
Ideally able to take and produce video content
Support social media development

About you:

A good team worker but also able to work alone with limited instruction
Digital marketing knowledge and expertise in PPC, digital advertising and ideally email
Ability to create clear communication documents for local teams
Ability to manage external suppliers to deliver timely outputs
Ability to learn new CMS and online platforms easily
Some knowledge of the fitness and sport industry would be an advantage

Your qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Good written English (GCSE English Language or equivalent)
Numerate (GCSE Mathematics or equivalent)
Digital experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Degree level education, preferably in Marketing or a related field
At least A-level (or equivalent) in English Language
Minimum of 2 years' practical Marketing experience, preferably in a B2C service-led environment
Hold or working towards CIM diploma or Institute Digital Marketing (IDM) qualification
