Job description Freelance Ecommerce Manager

Guernsey

We have a very profitable an envious 3-6 months contract for fantastic consumer lifestyle company based in Guernsey. I would like to speak with Senior/eCommerce Managers who have extensive experience managing all channels for high transactional websites that feature highly visible products

Key Task

Develop and execute the eCommerce strategy. The primary measure of success will be website conversation, though other key areas will be proficiency in leading an Agile organization and development of a high quality multi-channel customer experience

Drive conversion improvement in usability fundamentals such as product and category page templates, cart, checkout, internal site search and navigation

Guide site innovation, including site content presentation and personalization

Implement tools and best-practices for analytics, A/B testing and multi-variant testing, while making customer insights and website data broadly applicable to the business as a whole

Develop and execute plans to broaden the firms geographic reach online including work related to translation, currency and payment types

Play a leadership role in eCommerce budgeting and trading processes, working with finance to forecast investments, web sales and web metrics

Act as primary advocate, mentor and champion of eCommerce in the organization. Guide our teams to prioritize work that will have maximum business impact, and ensure that teams are deeply cross-functional in order thee meet the needs of multiple, stakeholders.

Essential

In depth experience in an e-commerce marketing role at a managerial level, preferably for a VMS related company in UK

Must be highly numerate and commercial focussed; ROI driven

Extensive e-commerce marketing and traffic acquisition across key channels
Paid Search, Social (facebook), Retargeting (critieo), Remarketing, Display, Affiliates, Mobile, Video and Content marketing (taboolam outbrain)

Experience optimising conversion funnels, forms and landing pages
Trader mentality - knowledge regarding acquisition across all digital channels with expertise on paid search

Strong management skills

Thoroughly understands tracking and attribution
