Job description Freelance Traffic Manager

£250 a day + Airfare + Accommodation and the opportunity to work for one of the most well-known and respected international brands. Right now they are entering an exciting phase and looking for amazing creatives to join them for 6 + month booking, staying on the idyllic island of Guernsey based in the Channel Islands. Bookings like this don't pop up every day!

What..a traffic manager does:
The effective management of digital projects of the day-to-day creative workflow, ensuring that appropriate resources are assigned to briefs and managing briefing process, job timelines, client meetings and delivery of work.

Generally speaking..what's expected of you as the traffic manager:
Liaise with the client teams and particularly with client project management to plan work into the department and ensure deadlines are met. Maintaining an overview of creative jobs, ensuring that teams are working to realistic deadlines and that work is progressing and completed to deadline

Your day to day..as the traffic manager:
* Keeping the Creative Director and creative heads informed of all briefs received and work in progress
* Arranging briefing meetings and client review meetings with clients and creative heads
* Setting timelines for approved briefs
* Recording the progress of work
* Monitoring and prioritising workload, liaising with other traffic managers and Creative Heads as necessary
* Liaising between clients, Campaign Management team and Creative teams to ensure smooth running of work
* Ensuring that all appropriate monthly and quarterly reports and reviews are produced as required
* Coordinating the smooth transition of briefs between each stage of the creative process
* Liaise with creative heads to ensure Creative teams are meeting ongoing deadlines

If this is you..
* Having experience of working within an Agile process and sprints is important
* Understanding and experience of how the design process works
* Understanding and experience within digital. With that in mind knowing the difference between print and digital job times lines
* Having experience of working within an agency or liaising would be helpful
* Having some understanding of the technicalities of the digital, HTML5 campaign experience, DoubleClick, and media agency handling would be helpful
* The ability to project manage impartially acting in the interests of the business at all times
* Excellent people skills
* Computer literacy, with a sound understanding of project management software requirements
* Excellent organisational skills
* Excellent communications skills
* Attention to detail
* The ability to work under pressure
