Job description Head of Digital, Technology & Data - Fast-growing E-Commerce Brand
£70-£85k
London/Remote

My client is the largest player in its field in the UK. With huge year on year growth, this premium membership and e-commerce brand boasts over 100k monthly subscribers and growing every day. The recently launched E-commerce platform has taken the business to the next level and the opportunity for growth is limitless. With cutting edge, quality content always at the forefront of their marketing - this brand has a whole lot of personality!

This is a fantastic role where you will use a mix of knowledge across 3 areas: Digital & Technology and Data.

The Role:
*Ensuring the IT & Data strategy supports the ongoing direction of the organisation.
*Ownership and management of front-end and back-end development across the e-commerce website
*Managing the build and maintenance of physical and cloud-based IT infrastructure
*Managing IT policies, security and data protection (including GDPR compliance)
*Own the management of data across the organisation, including data analysis and reporting across all areas including Memberships, Marketing & Business Analytics.
*Work with other departments within the business to capture business requirements and translate into technical solutions.

The Candidate:

*Previous experience in a senior technology role, preferably within an e-commerce business. (Previous experience in a fast-growing start-up business would be an advantage)
*Hands-on web development experience would be an advantage, including architecting of websites and a good understanding of common web development and database technologies (including Javascript, VueJs, Liquid HTML and CSS, SQL, Data Warehouses such as Amazon Redshift)
*Previous experience of shopify or other e-commerce or subscription platforms would be an advantage.
*A good understanding of data and its importance in commercial decision making.
*Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and execute a technology strategy that inspires and motivates the team.
*A hands-on approach to executing the strategy is essential.
*Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and how they may be applied in to drive digital business.
