Junior NPD Manager - Beauty - London - £26k to £30k

Job description
You will work closely with the Trend Team to develop the seasonal trend pack and work with the design team to ensure copy and imagery is correct. You will work with the factories to call in new developments and review factory submissions taking into consideration product performance, commerciality, lead-time, and present proposed new products to key stakeholders.

You must identify the key product growth opportunities based on your market research, working in conjunction with the Account Managers and customers to analyse the product performance in the previous season. You will present a product development strategy for the coming season to key stakeholders.

You will be responsible for implementing the product development strategy and on-time delivery of newly developed products, and also brief the factory on all projects. You will hold face to face meetings at the factories to ensure projects run on time and relationships are maintained and then update key stakeholders on a weekly basis - presenting samples, artwork and NPD Sheets during the weekly meeting. You will act as the first point of contact to the customer for all new product developments.

Requirements:

*Excellent relationship management and business building skills
*A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
*Account handling, creative development or project management experience
*Proven track-record in effectively managing client relationships and the delivery of projects to the highest standard and on time
*Strong customer focus
*Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure whilst keeping an eye for detail
*Proactive, flexible approach and ability to take the initiative
*Drive, motivation and a willingness to challenge yourself
*Positive and out-going
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, in particular Word, Excel & PowerPoint
