An exciting position has arisen for a campaign manager, who is an arts enthusiast to join a notable arts and cultural centre of excellence.
This established arts venue hosts a variety of events from classical, spoken word, jazz, comedy nights and many more giving this position lots of variety. The marketing and social engagement manager role will grow, diversify and engage audiences, maximise ticket sales, brand profile and income generation. This is an exciting time to be joining the arts centre as it goes through re-branding and defining itself as a destination, which you will play a key part in
The main responsibilities of the marketing and social engagement manager:
*Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Box Office and Programme teams in implementing marketing campaign strategies for artistic seasons, festivals and mini-series, for different target audiences
*Defining, creating and delivering multi-channel marketing plans, to achieve agreed ticket income and audience development targets
*Planning, media-buying and delivering all e-mail, social media, digital and print advertising campaigns

*Managing and coordinating press, photography and media activity for main festivals and series
*Managing two juniors and interns and mentoring through their professional development.
*Devising and initiating social media strategies to improve the impact and profile of the centres' brand on social media platforms; integrating the social media channels into the main
The ideal marketing and social engagement manager:
*Proven experience in marketing, selling tickets and a passion for the arts. Experience working in the arts will be a strong advantage
*A creative thinker with the ability to write compelling marketing copy and devise multimedia marketing campaigns
*A proven track record of social media management, content management systems and data analysis and interpretation.
*Excellent management skills and proven experience of managing a team of staff
*Calm under pressure, you should have a flexible approach and be able to adapt to changes quickly in a dynamic environment.
