Job description
We are working with a leading digital marketing and advertising agency based in Windsor who specialise within the healthcare and life sciences sectors. They are looking for an experienced and intelligent medical copywriter with healthcare experience and the ability to make the technical and complicated feel straightforward and simple.
They are looking for someone with excellent writing skills at their heart, who is happy to take on their own projects, has an open mind and a curious nature, with strong attention to detail and a passion for new technology.
They will want you to be creative, proactive, meticulous, challenging, inspirational, responsible and communicative.
They'll also ask you to become an integral member of a strong and creative team of medical copywriters, designers and developers.

You'll be asked to
Work with copywriting, account management, design and development teams to write clear, concise, persuasive, and accurate copy
Be the primary writer for a range of medical/marketing/advertising projects across ad campaigns, public awareness campaigns, apps, banners, Facebook, emails, presentations, case studies, leaflets, booklets, infographics, comms, brand guidelines, videos, scripts, press releases, social media, webinar materials, market research, analyses, etc
Simplify complex concepts and data for a range of audiences
Ensure content stays within in-house or a client's brand guidelines
Adhere to ABPI and local codes of practice
Take part in, and often lead, creative brainstorms and develop concepts
Adhere to deadlines and budgets
Keep up to date with new digital technologies
Attend award ceremonies

You should have
A degree, preferably a life sciences one
A year working as a medical copywriter
Experience of writing high quality medical copy
Strong Word and Power point skills
Knowledge of the regulations and codes of practice found within the pharma and life sciences sectors codes of practice
Experience of writing for digital media
Experience working as part of a creative team
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Able to tailor language and tone to the audience
Solid scientific understanding and analytical skills
Organised, enthusiastic, with excellent time management
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
A proactive thinker
Flexible with respect to work and keen to grasp new concepts and ideas quickly
