Job description PR Manager - Major Highstreet Fashion Brand

Rare opportunity to join this exciting global business at a pivotal time of investment and growth. We are looking for an excellent communicator with flawless attention to detail and a creative flair. You will need a solid foundation of experience in developing integrated PR plans for a relevant brand, excellent press release writing skills, along with proven experience in PR and strong contacts, specifically within a fashion related retail sector.

PR Manager - Major Highstreet Fashion Brand


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop PR strategy and plans with Brand Communications Director and Brand teams
Pro-actively seek additional strategic/tactical PR opportunities for brands across all media to include consumer magazines, national and regional press, broadcast and online media as well as digital Influencers and opinion formers
Identify opportunities to drive traffic to the brands transactional and social media sites
Evaluate PR coverage with Brand Communications Director and ensure the team are working towards key targets
Develop and implement product news stories/special collections and effective campaigns
Actively develop relationships at all levels with team and relevant fashion media, to further develop brand presence and commercial brand opportunities
The team pro-actively increases PR contacts at all levels with a view to gaining positive product placement and editorial features.
Assess level of PR commitment required regionally to support any store programmes and regional activity and ensure relevant implementation of communications
Work with Digital, brand creative, design and buying teams, oversee scheduling/content of all brand press pack imagery and copy
Maintain and develop good working relationships with brand marketing teams where relevant - ensuring contacts and media spend is leveraged appropriately
Hold and manage annual budgets for plans and work closely with Brand Communications Director on setting priorities
Oversee the work of the brand PR team on a daily basis and prioritise accordingly
Ensure the Press Office function runs smoothly and professionally on a daily basis i.e. papers monitored, circulated as necessary, stories executed on time, press enquiries handled promptly
Mentor and guide the teams PR operational skills and review their performance and work to address their development
