Senior Graphic Designer - Oxford - Retail - £40k+

Job description A luxury retail company is looking for a talented graphic designer to help raise the standard and delivery of all creative communication. Reporting directly to the Senior Graphic Designer, the Graphic Designer will be required to interpret written and verbal briefs, generate ideas and create compelling and engaging graphical solutions, ensuring that all material produced is 'on Brand', sophisticated and consistent with the look and feel of current marketing material.

They will be based in the Group Communications Content Team and liaise closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, Content Director and Creative Director to ensure all B2C and B2B2C creative solutions are online with the creative vision, are consistent and ultimately on brand.


*Develop creative solutions and provide new ideas and critical thinking to the team
*Conceptualise campaign creative solutions, storyboards, through illustrative means or by pictorial form in a quick and nimble manner
*Design for key events/promotional campaigns (non-templated work) that tie in with the Group Marketing Services Calendar where applicable
*Interpret social and digital briefs into compelling and engaging content for our owned and earned channels
oDevelop creative for interactive application via Social Channels, (Facebook, Instagram, short-form film animations for websites and social channels).
*Act as Brand 'protector', designing all creative produced for the Group Communications team prior to submitting material to the internal stakeholders for approval via the Traffic Manager.
*Design and produce artwork for all guest facing communications (digital, advertising, social, press and outdoor advertising, direct mailings, leaflet and mini-leaflet updates, website, special offers, folders…).
*Support Visual Merchandising, events, special projects, and ad-hoc projects that sit outside the aforementioned Group Marketing Services Calendar as and when needed - working alongside the Senior Graphic Designer and Traffic Manager


*Demonstrable experience of creating targeted and sophisticated campaign designs
*At least 4 years experience in a busy design studio environment working to tight deadlines
*Excellent people, communication, organisation and time-management skills with good understanding of the creative process and feedback loops
*Advanced knowledge and experience of Adobe CS5 InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop software
*Advanced knowledge of motion software packages and/or film editing
*Advanced knowledge of artworking and setting up design for print and understanding of the print process
