Studio Manager - Homeware / Lifestyle - London - £40k

  • Salary: Up to £40000
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: London
  • Industry: Retail
Job description A digital retailer is looking for a Studio Manager to help take their marketing efforts to the next level. As the business expands throughout Europe and into new global markets they want to ensure their communications are consistent across all touch points and need someone to co-ordinate:

*Creative Briefs
*Workload Dispatch
*Compiling Studio Schedules for senior management meetings
*Compiling road maps for projects
*Develop project briefs when needed
*Consolidate client needs

They are looking for a Studio Manager to deliver excellence across all communications -

*There is no project too big or too small for you to handle - Managing a project from briefing to completion - taking client briefs, consolidating needs, assigning creative to a project, managing outputs and ensuring deadlines are met.
*Creating and implementing workflow and project management processes to make for a smooth, efficient project lifecycle
*Capacity assessment - ensure we never miss out on a deadline. If existing resource is not in capacity to fulfil the creative required, you will be able to bring to the Creative Director's attention the gap identified and proactively find an alternative route (agency support, external freelancers, etc)
*Reviewing daily resource and workload schedules and booking freelancers and organising agency support when needed
*Assessment and debrief management - celebrating the wins and booing the losses, but discussing solutions to improve for next time
*Administration - archiving and backing up the back up, file management, timesheet and invoice management
*Commercial acumen - understand that they are a digital business, mobile first and ensure that we bear this front of mind in all briefs.
*Design - it would be beneficial to come from a design background, with an understanding of the design processes and to feel comfortable taking part in creative brainstorms.

What they need from you:

*Strong organisation and planning skills
*Past experience in a similar role including creating and implementing new processes
*Experience working across integrated communications and with internal design teams (ideally in a digital retail environment) is vital
*An exceptional grasp of international brand communications any experience working in technology homeware/lifestyle brands would be a real advantage

Most importantly, the Studio Manager provides support to the marketing team and a point of call to funnel information between project owners and studio. Without this integral role, much of the management of a project falls on a designers' shoulders, allowing less time for the creative design and artworking itself.

What you'll get:

*A collection of brilliant and brave individuals in your team and around your team that are driven to make us the fastest growing brand in our sector worldwide
*The opportunity to take responsibility as we grow and shape how we go to market internationally
*The opportunity to learn from some of the best in their field
*A competitive salary and a range of benefits (discretionary bonus, pension, health insurance, free weekly meal)
