Job description
My client is a leading provider of marketing and communications to large businesses across the UK. A group of companies/agencies with expertise in direct marketing, CRM and communication.
We are seeking a results-driven B2B PPC Marketing Specialist (ideally with knowledge of UX), to join this dynamic and growing internal marketing team. This performance-based role is crucial in driving lead business generation efforts through paid search, display advertising, and inbound marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and optimizing campaigns that deliver measurable results and contribute directly to our company's growth.
The Role
- Design, implement, and manage pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Continuously optimise campaigns for performance.
- Conduct keyword research.
- Create compelling ad copy.
- Implement and manage retargeting campaigns.
- Utilise marketing automation tools.
- Collaborate with the content team to align PPC and inbound strategies.
- Manage campaign budgets.
- Conduct UX research including user testing, surveys, and behaviour analysis.
- Analyse website analytics, heatmaps, and user journey data.
- Create and implement A/B tests.
- Provide recommendations for improving site architecture, navigation, and content structure.
- Monitor and optimize website performance.
- Collaborate with developers to implement UX improvements.
- Create wireframes and prototypes for new landing pages and site features.
The Person
- Ideally a minimum of 2+ years of experience in PPC advertising and inbound marketing, with a focus on lead generation.
- Proven track record of successful campaign management and optimisation
- Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and how they complement PPC strategies.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred.)
- Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure and report on campaign performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Desired experience with UX research tools (e.g., Hotjar, UserTesting).
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation principles.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Familiarity with wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
