Job description
Our client, a market-leading digital consultancy in Financial Services, seeks an experienced data specialist with end-to-end expertise across data strategy, governance, engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and business intelligence. You’ll design and deliver data-driven transformation solutions tailored to FS challenges, particularly across life insurance, long-term savings, and wealth management.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop market opportunities for data solutions.
Engage clients to understand challenges and craft tailored strategies.
Lead and support sales efforts, proposals, and partnerships.
Oversee delivery of data strategy, governance, engineering, analytics, and AI projects.
Build and mentor a scalable team of data professionals.
Foster innovation and establish industry thought leadership.
Requirements
6–8+ years in data consulting, analytics, or product roles within UK Financial Services.
Proven leadership in data transformation and delivery.
Deep understanding of the full data lifecycle.
Strong commercial acumen and solution design experience.
Expertise with Cloud & AI platforms (Azure, Databricks), Data Warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift), ETL (Apache), SQL/Pandas, BI (Tableau, PowerBI), and ML Ops.
