Mid Weight Digital Designer - 12 months FTC

I am hiring for a passionate and experienced Mid Weight Digital Designer to work for a well-known retail brand and become a part of their growing Creative team.

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Mid Weight Digital Designer with an eye for detail and a passion for good design. As an experienced Mid Weight Digital Designer you will work on a mix of digital projects from site-wide UI design, marketing campaigns, to daily homepage/landing page assets for a well-loved retailer. 

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week on site

Salary is around the 35k mark for the right candidate

Ideal start date – end of September – 12 months FTC – Maternity Cover

As Mid Weight Digital Designer you will have;

- Minimum 3 years experience as a Digital Designer

- Background designing for either B2C or Retail

- Expert knowledge across Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Figma is a must!

- Expert in HTML and CSS

- Proven experience working on and delivering websites and digital projects

- Experience in UI/UX, SEO and using CMS

- A clean and well presented Portfolio showcasing similar day to day digital skills for B2C or Retail brands

- Degree or Qualification in Design/ Creative

- A keen eye for detail and a passion for design

- Confident in working in high pressured and fast paced environments and delivering websites digital projects and other business needs

As Mid Weight Digital Designer you will:

-        Produce assets for digital acquisition. With an impeccable eye for design, composition and typography

-        Contribute to the development of the Brand Identity and Guidelines for multiple brands. Ensuring the brand is applied consistently across all campaigns and channels

-        Design promotional content for the homepage and landing pages for email and print promotions

-        Inspire creativity and original thinking in other designers

-        Contribute to the development of the Brand Identity and Guidelines for multiple brands. Ensuring the brand is applied consistently across all campaigns and channels

-        Understand and leverage the latest trends and technologies
