PR Creative Account Director - PR, Earned Media

We are proud to be working with one of the UKs most creative agencies in their search for a creatively disruptive, PR creative! Their team is ever expanding and they now need a Creative Account Director or Senior Account Director to join their growing creative team to help deliver impactful campaign ideas. The selected candidate might be from a Creative background or an Account Handling backgroud but now wants to be enitirely creative.
A PR and Influencer agency, they believe brands have barely scratched the surface on what is possible through creatively disruptive PR so we are now on the search for an expert in Creative Earned Media to take it to the next level.
- Good understanding of what world class earned creative excellence looks like
- Ability to develop ideas that are ‘on strategy’, by translating into buyable ideas
- Ability to present and ‘sell’ your ideas internally and externally (you might be asked to present directly to clients or in new biz pitches
- Proven experience in developing ‘on-strategy’ earned media ideas - knowing what makes an idea fly in editorial channel
- A good understanding of PR through working in an agency environment (either solely as a creative, or as an account handler who’s made a move into creative)
- Broad sector experience, having delivered work across key sectors such as food/drink, FMCG, retail, travel utilities (the majority of work will be in the consumer space, but corporate experience is welcome)
- Experience of the creative process - from working with a strategy, interrogating a creative brief, devising a creative platform, developing the big idea and earned activation tactics
