Job description

This award-winning specialist travel company are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join the team.

This is an exciting new role focussed on digital acquisition to drive high quality new site traffic and enquiries. You will manage and optimise the PPC, CPC, digital advertising and both paid and organic social media activity. You will have budget responsibility and will be expected to achieve targets and demonstrate success against ROI.

This is a hybrid role – 2 days a week in the Surrey HQ.

The Role

  • Manage all paid media activity across digital channels. This includes but is not limited to PPC, display, remarketing, programmatic, paid social, video and native advertising.
  • Manage the relationship with the Digital Media agency and keep a close track on the performance of our ongoing paid campaigns and brief in any new & tactical campaigns.
  • Writing engaging ad copy, producing keyword lists, regular competitor analysis and best practice research.
  • Implement tracking on all digital campaigns and monitor performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Deploy tactical campaigns to promote special offers, late availability and other time sensitive promotions.
  • Oversee the organic and paid social media strategy and manage social channels to grow their community of followers and improve engagement.
  • Plan, create, implement and optimise all organic social content.
  • Plan and create lead generation tools such as competitions, destination / interest guides etc to drive database acquisition.
  • Use social media tools for monitoring, engaging, insights and reporting
  • Work together with the Marketing Director in the development, implementation and coordination of partnership campaigns.
  • Oversee our company and product listings on tourist board and third party websites.
  • Work closely with the Website & SEO Manager to ensure all digital campaigns link to relevant, optimised and compelling landing pages, and monitor campaign landing page performance & bounce rates.

The Person

  • Ideally at least 2 years of experience in a Digital Marketing role with proven B2C experience.
  • Experience across a variety of channels (not necessarily all!) – paid & organic search and social, display, programmatic, video, native.
  • Knowledge of digital trends and how to both build and convert a digital audience.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in using GA4, Google AdWords, Bing & Facebook Business in order to understand trends and performance.
  • Strong creative flair with ability to write compelling copy and create inspiring video reels.
  • Previous experience of marketing budget responsibility.
  • Be able to simplify messages, translate data into opportunities and actions.
