Profiles Creative Summer Conference

The sun is out, summer has officially arrived and so has the start of Profiles Creative’s new financial year! To celebrate this momentous occasion and welcome it in true Profiles style we all headed out of the office for the day for one of our legendary and aspirational Summer Conferences followed by the Profiles Creative Summer Party.

The celebrations kicked off with a luscious bucks fizz breakfast in the office, before everyone was split up into teams and sent out on a treasure hunt style task eventually leading the office to our first (secret) venue, for the Profiles Creative presentation, led by our Managing Director, Jen Kinnear.

With the weather being as perfect as it was that week our first venue couldn’t have been more ideal, as everyone entered the conservatory in The Hoxton Hotel we were greeted by a stunning, atmospheric indoor garden and best of all, an open roof!

The day was centred around celebrating the successes of the previous year and welcoming in the aims, drives and ambitions of our new, freshly named, Mint year. We handed out Awards to individual high achievers and had the big reveal of our highly anticipated and iconic quarterly over achievers meal. The atmosphere in the room was buzzing and everyone was in high spirits, looking forward to hearing more about our next year and the company's plans of growth and focuses for the year ahead.

With it already being one of our existing markets, during the day it became very apparent there was one word everyone was focussing on, and that is Ecommerce.

One of the main topics Jen addressed was the company’s focus on growth for developing our Digital & Ecommerce Division and it being at the cornerstone of our growth strategy for 2018/2019.

It’s going to be an incredibly exciting time and without giving too much away, we have big plans and investments for this division and I think it’s fair to say everyone left the presentation feeling incredibly driven and excited about the next 12 months.

Once the presentation was over, we were then treated to the Hoxton Hotel’s lunch menu and had some time to relax and enjoy a few drinks before heading across the road to our second venue for the day.

The newly opened and incredibly chic Nobu Hotel, Shoreditch.

The team arrived and were led down the stylish and elegant grand staircase, into Nobu’s decadent and beautifully decorated restaurant, before being guided out onto our own private terrace, and greeted by the most impeccable cocktails.

Starting with some of their signature cocktails (the Elderflower and Lychee Martini being a particular favourite), as well as being able to enjoy some of their truly exquisite food (by far some of the best prawns I have ever tasted). Everyone then had some time to indulge themselves in an array of different drinks in one of the most iconic locations in London.

Our afternoon in Nobu was a chance for the office to rejoice in last years successes and toast to the future and everything the company has to look forward to.

Our cocktail reception was followed by flowing champagne, and where better to enjoy it than in the sunshine on the terrace of London’s first Nobu Hotel, before heading down the road for our “After Party” in the VIP Room in the Magic Roundabout in Old Street station. We had the VIP section to ourselves for the rest of the evening and were treated to even more drinks and some delicious street food to soak up all the alcohol!

It was made very apparent throughout the day that the team are all feeling suitably driven and highly motivated for the year ahead, with so much to look forward to and work towards. Growth and Ecommerce both being buzzwords for the year ahead, I think it’s safe to say this is going to be an incredibly exciting and big year for us at Profiles Creative.
